Well here we are, finding ourselves needing to sanitize our hands multiple times a day. For when you can't wash your hands with soap and water (which is still the best way to fight germs and viruses), you can reach for a hand sanitizer that still helps support small business.
This hand mist is made with 80% ethanol and follows CDC and WHO guidelines for hand sanitation. The awesome bonus is that it was distilled by a local distillery in Whatcom County of Washington state, who switched over their operations from alcoholic drinks, to alcohol to disinfect with! That's an awesome business pivot if I've ever heard one!
Currently these hand mists come in a fruity and sweet Grapefruit scent, classic Cucumber Melon, refreshing Citrus Blossom or Lavender essential oil. They also contain a little bit of aloe extract to give your hands some extra love during all this disinfecting.
This mist is water thin and comes with a spray pump, two or three spritzes on your hand, rub until they feel dry and you're left with clean hands and a lovely scent! These are packaged in a reusable glass spray bottle, with approx 1.75-1.85 ounces of spray. (Note: due to price and supply chain disruptions, sanitizing spray may come in blue or brown glass spray bottles).
While I did not distill this hand sanitizer myself, I feel proud that it was made with the highest quality ingredients, to the highest standards, and right up the road from me by a local business. This is really a two-fold local investment, through me the retailer (who put their own spin on it), and through the local distiller who made the raw product. Go Washington small business!
